The special guest of the second edition of Querini Stampalia-FURLA Award is the artist Ilya Kabakov. His project has been inspired by the ancient philosophic principle of the four constituent elements of the universe. According to Greek philosopher Empedocle, all things are created starting by the different blending of four endless and unchangeable roots: water, air, earth, fire.
