The gift embraces three elements. The first is engraving at the Querini Stampalia in 1999, the second in 2006 is drawing, and now the gift of writing. It is a path for the eyes, where interpretation and signs lead to new realities.

A word can have a more definite shape than a figure. “I contemplate poetry like Paul Cezanne stood in front of the Saint-Victoire mountain. I draw the words of poetry like Giorgio Morandi painted his subjects. Poetry represents our new mountains, the life of people turned into artworks represents our new subjects.

The flexible translation of letters is the representation of our present that leads to the future. The testimony of others’ lives is the language to describe unknown landscapes.

In this case the words of the Russian poet Ossip Mandel’stam become “en plein dedans”. It is an “all in there” to meditate, like a piece of graphite. Once again, the eyes meet the brain” (Giuseppe Caccavale).
