Cannon Model

The Arsenal of Venice had a great tradition in cannons, which were always objects of study and research. Every time a new piece was designed, a bronze model was produced on a wood carriage and presented to the authorities

Some members of the Querini family were quartermasters of Artillery and Arsenal. For this reason, there is a collection of 25 artillery models dated back to the 17th-18th centuries. Some of them have the Querinian coat of arms.
