A collaboration between the London Art History Society and the Querini Stampalia Foundation to present the institution in London.
During an evening lecture guests will discover the story and the artistic heritage of the Foundation, focusing in particular on the Museum, acclaimed as one of the best preserved House-Museum in Europe, and on its collection.
The lecture will consider in detail Giovanni Bellini's 'The Presentation of Jesus' in the Temple as well as the cycle of paintings depicting scenes of public and private Venetian life by Pietro Longhi and Gabriel Bella.
After the lecture: Bellini cocktails, Prosecco and soft drinks will be served.
