Architect Valeriano Pastor completed some important buliding works between 1982 and 1997.
Valeriano Pastor cooperated with Carlo Scarpa in the 1950s. He is an Architectural Design Professor and later became Director of the Architecture University of Venice. He is also responsible for a complex extension and renovation plan focusing attention on how to improve the spatial distribution and the complex in general.
The most remarkable sign of this work is also testified by the connection between the buildings and the services initially separated. The vertical system was built ex novo and includes small areas (toilets, smoking rooms, storage areas), in addition to the metal staircase with prefabricated artificial stone steps. They overlook a "cortesella" of the Palace with convex projections, covered with wooden staves and portholes with nautical pictures.
