Contemporary art? Child’s play! Four educational workshops to discover the artists presenting their projects in Fondazione Querini Stampalia on the occasione of the 57. Biennale Arte.

- K for kirigami. Elisabetta Di Maggio’s carvings

With paper e scissors, following the oriental technique of kirigami, to create a unique collective piece of art climbing a wall in the Palace, just like the artist did in the Museum

11th June, 4 pm


- L for Logbook. Hadassa Goldvicht’s video installation

The keeper of a mysterious place, ex captain of a merchant ship and his secret logbooks. These are the ingredients to be inspired, become little explorers of memory and build fully-fledged artist’s logs, playing with shapes and colours!

8th September, 3.30 pm.


- W for World. Giovanni Anselmo’s work

Looking for the secret forces of the world and nature inside the artworks by Giovanni Anselmo, one of the masters of Arte Povera, to give origin to a personal universe in miniature starting from wood and stones, magnets, leaves and twine.

24th September, 4 pm.   


- C for Colour. Maria Morganti’s palette

Paint, colourful threads, fabrics….you name it! Following the way of working of the artist and inspired by the splendid tapestry of the Cafè to create your own painting in the spirit of colour and fantasy.

8th October, 4 pm.

A storytelling to discover the projects that the Fondazione Querini Stampalia presents on the occasion of the 57. Biennale Arte A journey through the exhibition itinerary, getting inspired by the works, the stories and the “behind the scenes” of an ever-changing relationship: contemporary art and the patrimony of the Fondazione.
