The great variety of the collections reflects the Library's history and characteristics. For 140 years the "Library of the Venetians", has been visited by all kinds of readers, students, Italian and foreign scholars.
Since 1869, the heritage of the Querini Stampalia family has continued to grow with the addition of modern books to provide updated resources for study and research, together with volumes donated from the libraries of private citizens.
