Project in cooperation with Fondazione Querini Stampalia

For the first time in its showrooms, Fondazione The Merz from Turin will be presenting an anthological exhibition dedicated to Marisa Merz. This will be the second step of a project in cooperation with Fondazione Querini Stampalia after the 2011 summer exhibition "Marisa Merz - It does not match, yet it flourishes". "MARISA MERZ: to draw over and over again, thoughts as a changing image" will be exhibiting a wide variety of historical pieces dated back to the mid-Sixties, coming up to contemporary and often new ones, installed under the expert and meticulous eye of the artist. the aim of the event is to express the intimate and visionary aspects of her poetry, not on the basis of creating a story, following a specific topics or even a chronology, but by showing the artist's way of working and her way of creating links and connections among her pieces, in always new and unpredictable ways. The event will give life to a creative universe in which visitors will find themselves involved observing the rentless attempt to give shape to thought and the endless emerging of new questions.
