The Library is open to the public

from Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

for registered users only. 

To access the Library, you need a card. Those who already have one should bring it with them; those who have not yet been able to get it can ask for it at the Reception desk.

To register for the Library you must download the FORM, fill it in and send it to [email protected] together with a scan of an identity document.

Access does not require a reservation, except for consultation of rare and ancient materials and periodicals, that must be requested in advance by email.

The following services are available in the Library:

- open shelf consultation

- requesting books from the storage at the Distribution Desk

- personal study with own books  

The delivery of documents in digital copy must be requested in advance by email.

Requests for personal loans can be made either through the Polo SBN Venezia website with one's own user credentials, or by e-mail.

Collection of borrowed books is possible from Monday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Distribution Desk in the Library; return can be done either at the Distribution desk or at the Reception desk on the ground floor, during the same hours.
