The Library is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., for registered users only.
To access the Library, you need a card. Those who already have one should bring it with them; those who have not yet been able to get it can ask for it at the reception.
PLEASE NOTE:
- starting from 1 April 2022, it is no longer necessary to display COVID-19 green certification to access the Library.
- it is recommended to wear suitable respiratory protection (FFP2 mask)
To register for the Library you must download the FORM, fill it in and send it to [email protected] together with a scan of an identity document.
If you wish to reserve a place, you must register through the Polo SBN Venezia website with your user credentials (from the OPAC SBN home page, click on the "My library account" function at the top right and follow the instructions in "Login info").
Other places are available for access without a reservation until capacity is exhausted.
The following services are available in the Library:
- open shelf consultation
- requesting books from the storage at the Distribution Desk
- personal study with own books
Consultation of rare and ancient materials and periodicals must be requested in advance by email, as must the delivery of documents in digital copy.
Requests for personal loans can be made either through the Polo SBN Venezia website with one's own user credentials, or by e-mail. Volumes requested by 1 p.m. will be available the following day.
Collection and return of borrowed books are possible from Monday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Reception Desk on the ground floor.
