Alliance Française de Venise in cooperation with Fondazione Querini Stampalia will be organizing a cycle dedicated to Louis e Auguste Lumièr , titled "The Lumière brothers and the origins of cinema". The invention of cinema is owed to these two French engineers who produced the first pubblic screening in 1895. Three dates: 9, 15, 16 February, at 6 pm at the Auditorium of Fondazione Querini Stampalia. For the occasion, from 9 to 16 February, visitors will be able to appreciate the reproduction of the original negative of an old and rare example of Photorama-Lumière, belonging to Carlo Montanaro Archive. The topic of the cycle is also inspiring from a gastronomic viewpoint, as suggested by "Querinicaffè" that will be offering a typical French dish, the "chucrut", drinks included, at 15 per person from 9 to 16 February.
