“The threshold as a place that unveils, that place that declares, when framed within an image, from where I am looking. To declare my taking a stand as the first foundational act, necessary to generate a vision.” – Alessandra Chemollo
‘Parliamone’ with Alessandra Chemollo, photographer, and Giovanni Leoni, professor of History of Architecture at the University of Bologna.
Talk and aperitif starting from 6 p.m.
The appointments designed to deepen DoorScape continue in Carlo Scarpa Garden. Each time is a unique opportunity to meet photographers, architects, philosophers, historians, designers and talk with them: dialogues beyond the classic conference that recover the multidisciplinary nature of the project.
What is entrance architecture for a photographer? How does a landscape designer or an architect approach the concept of the threshold? The element of the threshold, present in everyone’s lives, in Querini becomes metaphorically and literally a point of encounter.
The talk will be in Italian language.
